These materials are intended to build the capacity of primary healthcare workers to support the entire cancer control continuum, from prevention and early detection, to treatment, survivorship, monitoring and evaluation.
The main objectives of this course are:
1. Equip primary healthcare workers with knowledge on risk factors and prevention of priority cancers in Kenya.
2. Build the capacity of primary healthcare workers to appropriately conduct early detection (screening and early diagnosis) of priority cancers in Kenya.
3. Enable primary healthcare workers to undertake prompt referrals for management of diagnosed cancer cases and follow-up patients who have completed cancer treatment.
