This course equips Community Health Practitioners with practical knowledge and skills to promote environmental health at the household and community level. Across eight sessions, learners cover water safety, sanitation, hygiene, waste management, household air pollution, environmental cleanliness, and Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI). The course concludes with environmental health reporting, preparing CHPs to observe, record, and submit household data through the eCHIS platform.
By the end of this course, you should be able to identify environmental health risks, support households in adopting safer practices, and contribute reliable data to the community health system.
